Documentation needed to establish a Mainland Company in the UAE

For Individual Shareholders:

  • Different documentation is required for individual shareholders and corporate shareholders.
  • For individual shareholders, passport copies of foreign shareholders, directors, and managers, along with the Visa page and entry stamp are necessary (upon entering the UAE).
  • If the shareholder or manager holds an employment visa for any company in the UAE, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer is required.
  • A copy of the National ID card of the UAE National Partner is also necessary.

For Corporate Shareholders:

  • An exact copy of the Articles of Association, Certificate of Incorporation, and Memorandum is required, legalized by the UAE Embassy.
  • If the company is a shareholder in the proposed LLC, an objection certificate from the Free Zone/Offshore Authority is necessary.
  • An original Board Resolution for incorporating the business, accompanied by a notarized Power of Attorney authorized by the UAE Embassy, is also required.
